JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description Snelling is seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team specializing in material handling and industrial supplies. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Conduct regular visits to current and prospective clients to present our product offerings. Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead follow-up. Customer

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty. Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding product applications and solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers as needed.

Market and Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Continuously update knowledge on our products and services to effectively address customer needs. Attend industry events, trade shows, and training sessions to enhance expertise and network with potential clients.

Administrative and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in CRM software. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the material handling and industrial supplies industry. Strong understanding of material handling equipment, industrial supplies, and related products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently. Ability to travel within the assigned territory regularly. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex product specifications. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
